Speaking during the courtesy visits, the District Governor Unit 9141 of Rotary Club International, Madam Virgina Major received by the General Manager of Delta Broadcasting Service, Pastor Malcolm Oteri said that as Nigeria celebrates her Independence Anniversary more attention should be given to the vulnerable who lack basic amenities.
Madam Major noted that more needs to be done to reach the vulnerable in the society adding that partnering with Delta Broadcasting Service will help in reaching more people. She called for more sponsors towards fulfilling the course of the club.
The District Governor while thanking the Station’s General Manager Pastor Malcolm Oteri for the Warri reception, also revealed that Rotary Club is committed to building and sustaining friendship and making passionate sacrifice.
For his part the General Manager of Delta Broadcasting Service, Warri, Pastor Malcolm Oteri who emphasized the core mandate of the Club which is relationship and sacrifice called for good leadership and generosity on the part of Nigerian leaders.
Pastor Oteri assured the Club of the station’s support in advancing the course of human existence adding that Rotary Club should appreciate the challenges of the station in a bid to optimally serve residence of the State better.
The District Governor of the Club covering Delta, Edo, Bayelsa and Rivers, Madam Virgina Major and her entourage was later conducted round the station by the General Manager and to Management Staff of Delta Broadcasting Service.
