The return of former Governor Dr Emmanuel Uduaghan to the (PDP) Peoples Democratic Party has been hailed as a positive move that will restore hope to party faithful’s in the coastal areas of the state.
Dr Emmanuel Uduaghan re-established his relationship with the PDP Monday when he went to his Abigborodo ward to pick his party card and declare support to the party under which he ran the affairs of Delta State as Governor for eight years.
The move has restored hope among many party faithful who regard a formidable political leader.
Reacting to the development, Chief Yusuf Eregbene said the loss of Dr Uduaghan to the APC had brought disillusionment to his supporters.
Chief Yusuf Eregbene explained that with Dr Uduaghan back in the PDP the people are happier because their democratic dividends will be better protected and their Joy full restored.
He thanked Governor Ifeanyi Okowa for all he has so far done for the people of the coastal area explaining that with the return of former Governor Uduaghan to the PDP told the political family will be more united.
Chief Yusuf who is from Akugbene Mieu kingdom in Bomadi Local Government Area thanked Dr Uduaghan for taking the bold step to return to the PDP.
