The State Commissioner for Transport, Hon. Oviemuno Oghoore has advised commuters to board vehicles from recognized motor parks to avoid be victims of fraudsters during the Yuletide.

Mr. Oghoore gave the advice in Asaba while reacting to incessant cases of innocent commuters falling victims to fraudsters in some parts of the state.

He cautioned commuters to also patronize cabs and tricycles painted in the State Colour Code of blue and white with boldly written identification unique code numbers and avoid the temptation of boarding unmarked vehicles from road sides, stressing that some persons have been duped, gang raped and sometimes abducted or killed in the process. The transport Commissioners also directed the Vehicle Inspection Personnel (VIO) and officials of the Delta State Traffic Management Authority (DESTMA) to be civil in the discharge of their duties at all times.
