Meanwhile, the only road in Emevor that links other communities, including Orogun and Agbarha-Otor in Ughelli North Local Government Area of Delta State, is in a deplorable condition.
ROLL VCR: The Emevor town road constructed many years ago is laden with pot holes and deep gullies, preventing farmers from moving their produce to markets in rural communities.
The report

The road apart from its link to six Emevor villages, also has routes to Agbarha-Otor and Orogun communities.
The deplorable condition of the road is worst during the rainy season.
The Chairman of Emevor Community, Pastor Otobo Abisi and some residents riding through the road to the villages, Mr Isaac Ighomina and Mr Samson Efe narrate the ordeal faced by the people of Emevor who are mainly farmers.
Farmers and other indigenes of Emevor communities struggle with their bicycles while going or returning from their farms.
They recalled how officials of the Niger Delta Development Communities, NDDC, inspected the road and awarded the contract for the construction of the Emevor road but only graded and sand filed a section of the road.
They appealed to both the NDDC and the Delta State Government to intervene and complete the construction of the Emevor town road.
On completion, farmers in many of the communities in Emevor, Agbarha-Otor and Orogun would be able to transport their farm produce easily to the markets.
The completion of the road will also open up economic activities across the many communities.
