Bishop Okokporo gave the advice at the 18th year annual harvest thanksgiving service of the ministry held at its headquarters at Amukpe in Sapele Local Government Area.

Bishop Godday Iboyi Okokporo during the 18th year annual harvest thanksgiving service the Promise Kingdom Ministry, PKM, prayed for divine favour for all believers all over the world.

He noted that despite all that happened across the globe in 2020, God remained faithful to the Overflow family, adding that this year’s annual harvest thanksgiving service is the mother of all since the ministry started.

The clergy while leading a special prayer for the nation Nigeria, urged all Nigerians to have the fear of God, live in peace and love one another so that the benefits of the divine favour can be their portion.

The clergyman urged all politicians to stop the politics of bitterness and imbibe the spirit of love and good leadership as he prayed for the leadership of Nigeria and the Delta State Governor, Dr. Ifeanyi Okowa.

The guest speaker at the thanksgiving, Pastor Victor Abugo from Mosogar branch of the ministry in a message titled “An Acceptable Thanksgiving” urged Christians to offer to God an acceptable thanksgiving in line with 2Chorithians 9:7.

Pastor Abugo asserted that God wants all Christians to give him thanks but not all thanksgiving are accepted by God, maintaining that, as believers, before thanksgiving can be accepted by God, there must be genuine repentance and of good standing with God.

 Above all, the cleric urged Christians to joyfully give thanks as God loves a cheerful giver.

Highlights of the 2020 annual harvest thanksgiving service of the Overflow Chapel were drama presentation by the Overflow Drama group, special ministration  by the redeem voices of the Overflow Chapel, special thanksgiving by various groups among other attractions.

The ceremony was well attended by the Overflow Chapel family all over the world, among whom were; the wife of the General Overseer of the Ministry and National Women President. Rev. Mrs. Ovo Peace Iboyi, the new President- Elect, of Ugborehen Community, Dr. Nelson Ukoko, Pastor Luka from Niger State, the Deputy General Overseer of the Ministry, Very Rev. Joseph Abah Adah and other ministers of the God.
