The Olu of Warri Ogiame Ikenwoli has charged the Oloraja and people of Obitugbo Community in Warri North Local Government Area to work together to sustain the prevailing peace in the community in order to attract the needed development to the community.
The Olu of Warri represented by the Udefi of Warri Kingdom, Chief Clement Maleghemi, urged the people to work with the Olaraja, Pa Isaac Jemide in order to sustain the prevailing peace in the community, noting that no meaningful development can take place in an atmosphere of rancour.
The monarch promised to liaise with the state Government and relevant stakeholders in meeting the development needs of the community.
The Olaraja of Obitugbo community Pa Isaac Jemide, commended the Olu of Warri for his support to the community and promised to work with his people in sustaining the prevailing peace in the community.
Public Relations officer of the community, Mr Benson Ayemidejor who spoke on behalf of Mr Justice Akuyoma, appealed to the state Government and relevant agencies to fast track development to the community.
The ceremony was climaxed with the display of the rich cultural heritage of the Itsekiri people.
