NATIONAL COUNCIL ON SPORTS MEETS IN ASABA.
The Ministry of YOUTH AND SPORTS DEVELOPMENT is currently holding its 2-day National Council on Sports meeting in Asaba the state capital to  strategize for upcoming events in the country. 
Top on the agenda are the Nigeria Sport Industry Policy and the 20th National Sports Festival scheduled to hold in Edo State among others
 The state Governor, Dr. Ifeanyi Okowa is expected at the meeting involving The Minister, YOUTH AND SPORTS DEVELOPMENT, Mr Sunday Dare and other stakeholders. 
A communique is expected at the end of the meeting on Friday. 

Manchester United Back Manager Despite Losses. 

Despite series of losses, Manchester United continues to back manager Ole Gunnar Solskjae. 

Solskjaer has come under fresh scrutiny in the wake of Wednesday’s 2-1 defeat at Istanbul Basaksehir in the Champions League – their first in the competition this season

United are currently 15th in the Premier League after losing 1-0 against Arsenal on Sunday, but the club has no plans to replace Solskjaer – despite reports linking former Tottenham manager Mauricio Pochettino with the role at Old Trafford.

Solskjaer laughed off suggestions his job is under threat after the defeat in Turkey.

United return to Premier League action on Saturday away at Everton, who have also lost their last two matches against Southampton and Newcastle
