Public Secondary Schools across the State have commenced the morning and afternoon sessions introduced by the Ministry of Basic and Secondary Education to check the spread of COVID-19 in Schools.
Students of Delta Secondary School and Hussey College both in Warri and also sharing the promises waited patiently at the gate for students in morning session to close so that they can gain entrance into the school.
At exactly 12 noon Tuesday students from the two schools that have closed and those that were resuming walked in and out of the premises.
Some students spoke on their impression on the two sessions introduced in the public secondary schools.
Meanwhile, the Principal of Uwangue College Warri, Comrade Alex Oniovosa explained that the directive of the State Government would be strictly enforced to check the spread of COVID-19 in school system.
Comrade Oniovosa also explained how he is applying the two sessions among students of the College.
In the meantime, complaints have continued to trail the incorporative attitude of many parents towards the provision of school requirement for their children and wards. The complaints include the lateness of their children to school, non-payment of approved fees and levies in public and private schools as well as not building morals on the children.
In his reaction, a part, Mr Benjamin Akpasubi urged parents to take the education of their wards seriously.
