The Protesters by persons suspected to be Yahoo Boys, unemployed graduates and a cross section of Youths continued as the Federal Government takes steps to reform the Nigeria Police Force.
These protests are gaining more grounds across the country including Warri, the commercial nerve centre of Delta State.
The protesters who are mainly youths called for an end to police assault intimidation in whatever form and decried the unemployment rate in the country.
Some of the placards displayed by the protesters read, END TO SARS Brutality, Police AssaultNO to Intimidation and Youths Life Matter“.
Passersby and Tricycle Operators at Okumagba Estate in Warri applauded the action of the END SARS Protesters adding that since the demonstration, their transport businesses have been very rewarding.
They also want these protests to be extended to other sectors of governance to put the leaders in check.
The Inspector-General of Police who announced the disbandment of SARS recently, also announced the format of a new security outfit known as Special Weapons and Tactics Squad, SWAT.
The Police Boss also said that henceforth, Policemen are banned from checking the Phones of Nigerians.
These decisions by the Police hierarchy have however not gone down well with Nigerians who want a more pragmatic approach to the Police reforms.
