A voluntary exercise clean-up of Effurun Roundabout and adjourning areas have been scheduled for Monday October 26 at 9am.
The clean-up is being facilitated by two groups clean Warri and Istandforclean Delta with support from Uvwie Local government chairman, Honourable Ramsome Onoyake and the state Environmental task force.
Also supporting the clean-up is the state waste management Board and the private sector waste collectors.
Collins Azuike of clean Warri in a statement asked the youths of the metropolis to come out and add value to the city entrance by joining in the clean-up.
He reiterated that the clean-up exercise is voluntary and a personal contribution towards making the environment clean.
Collins asked those who wish to be available for the exercise to come with implements such as brooms, rakes headpans or containers and hand gloves.
For her part, Joy Alamu of Istand for clean Delta said the youth have so much positive energy to use in making the environment between and solicited their co-operation towards making Warri Metropolis and Delta state clean.
The clean-up exercise starts at 9a.m Monday October 26.
