Residents of Ogunsami Street in Itire-Ikate council of Lagos State have hailed the chairman, Ahmed Olanrewaju Apatira, for providing solar lights at the street and others in the council. The residents said that Apatira deserved praise for providing solar lights at many streets in the LCDA, adding that they would help to provide security at night in the council area. The residents, however, urged Hon. Apatira to tar Ogunsami Street. The residents said: “Ogunsami Street, like the neighbouring Oshogbo Street, is a link road between Itire-Ikate LCDA and Coker-Aguda LCDA. It is an important road in Itire-Ikate LCDA.
“While Oshogbo Street has been tarred several times by past administrations and the current one, Ogunsami Street has never been tarred. “We implore the chairman, Apatira, to tar Ogunsami Street before the end of his second tenure.”
