The 2021 Convention of the Redeemers Men’s Fellowship, Region 23 of the Redeemed Christians Church of God has ended in Warri with a call on men to build their homes on Christ Jesus to enable them enjoy a family devoid of crises.
Rev. Isaac Oyebamiji made the call at the Convention with the theme “Thus Shall the Man Be Blessed”.
DRTV News Correspondent Ogheneruona Oyibo reports that lectures on security, health, and parades by various provinces were the mayor features at the Men’s Convention.
One after the other, the men from various provinces in Delta Region 23 of the Redeemers Men’s Fellowship matched and danced round the arena in appreciation to God for the success of the 2021 Convention.
A guest preacher Rev. Isaac Oyebamiji who dwelt on the success of a Christian Marriage, maintained that a Christian family remains the solid foundation upon which a secured and safe country can be built stressing the need for fathers to make frantic effort in raising God fearing children.
While maintaining that some of those penetrating crimes in the society today are products of a failed family, Rev. Oyebaniji tasked fathers stood always put up a Godly character, stand in the gap through prayers and see their wives as partners in progress by involving them in the day to day affairs of their homes in order to build a more united and happy family.
He called on the men to discharge their responsibilities in the fear of God, strive to provide the needs of the family and protect them against external attacks. In doing this, Rev Oyebamiji said their wives will be moved to play complementary roles for their homes to the devoid of crises.
In his address, the Chairman of Redeemers Men’s Fellowship and Pastor in charge of Region 23, Pastor Sunday Akande stated that the theme of the Convention “Thus Shall the Man Be Blessed” was to remind the men of their position in Christ and also inspire them to inculcate into their families Godly virtues.
He expressed optimism that the messages from the Convention will make meaningful impact on the lives of the men urging them to genuinely surrender their lives to Christ I order for them to continue to experience the new waves of glory in their families.
The President of Province 5 Men’s Fellowship Mr George Orogun who spoke on behalf of the Redeemed Men’s Fellowship President Region 23, Brother Ademola Akande reminded the men of their rightful position in Christ. He also enjoined them to set new records for themselves in righteousness and put to use their spiritual experience from the Convention to become better fathers.
On security, the men of the fellowship were advised on the need for them to join hands in tackling the current security challenges confronting the country.
In the area of health, the men were advised to take health issues seriously by embarking on regular medical check ups and also engage in exercising.
The 2021 Redeemers Men’s Convention featured prayers for the men, state and the country.
