Youths have staged a peaceful protest against the alleged oppressive rule of President Muhammadu Buhari’s administration.
The youths who were identified as members of the Revolution-Now, and other groups said Nigerians were suffering despite the promises made by President Buhari during his electioneering.
The protests gathered at Filling Station along the Lagos-Ibadan Expressway in preparation for the protest.
Over 10 police cars and patrol vans were stationed under the bridge at Iwo road and major streets in Ibadan to prevent the protesters from embarking on the protest.
Meanwhile operatives of the Nigeria Police Force on Thursday brutalised Punch Photojournalist, Mr Olukayode Jaiyeola, while covering October 1st protest in Lagos State.
