The Edo State Government has imposed a 24-hour curfew across the State.
The curfew which takes effect from 4pm Monday, October 19, 2020 is until further notice.
The Decision follows the prison beak during which the protesters set prisoners free.
A statement signed by the Secretary to the Edo State Government, Mr Osarodion ogie said government had to take the decision because of the disturbing incidents of vandalism and attacks on private individuals and institutions by hoodlums in the guise of #ENDSARS protesters.
The statement adds that schools and businesses are to shut down activities accordingly and those who cannot move safely are to stay put between now and 4pm till calm is restored.
