PFN SOUTH SOUTH ZONE HOLDS MEETING OVER INSECURITY
The meeting, the second in the series had in attendance Clergymen from Delta Central and South Senatorial Districts of Delta State.
Addressing the religious ministers the convener of the meeting and Vice President of the Pentecostal Fellowship of Nigeria PFN South South Zone Bishop Simeon Okah said God has always been merciful to Nigeria and urged Christian Leaders to be united and pray for the good of the land, always.
Bishop Okah revealed that the level of insecurity in Nigeria is worrisome but expressed optimism that with God’s intervention things will be brought under control.
He added that the meeting was designed to brainstorm on ways the church can complement the Delta State Government’s effort in addressing insecurity.
For his part General Overseer and Founder of the Christ Missionary Crusaders Ministry, Arch Bishop Goddowell Avwomakpar asked Christians to act in wisdom and look forward in optimism.
Bishop Curtis Fiano and Bishop Willice Abose called on church leaders in Delta State to find ways of putting in words of wisdom and caution in the unfolding events in the country.
The Clergymen equally urged Government Officials to listen to religious leaders stressing that such understanding will help to enhance good governance.
The next meeting of the body was slated for Wednesday December 2, 2020.
