The chairman of the Delta State Pentecostal Fellowship of Nigeria PFN, Bishop Kingsley Enakirerhi who titled his message why God Allows Protests’’ told the black wearing Christians that even God recognises protests as a way of expressing grievances against constituted authorities.
Bishop Enakirerhi who recalled the protest led by Moses and Aaron in the bible against Pharaoh in Egypt noted that it was God who commended the protest that led to the freedom of the Israelites.
The PFN state chairman urged President Muhammadu Buhari to speedily accede to the requests of the youths and also called on all aged politicians who have ruled for young Nigerians Independence to give way for young Nigerians to take over the leadership of the country.
In his remarks, the National Vice President, South South of the Pentecostal Fellowship of Nigeria, NFN, Bishop Simeon Okah, said the nationwide youths protests was an answer to the prayers of the church for an end to corruption and bad leadership.
Bishop Okah commended the courage of the Youths who paid the supreme price in the fight for a better Nigeria.
The implored other youths to be bold and continue the advocacy for freedom using all legitimate and peaceful platforms available to them.
Bishop Okah however cautioned against looting and vandalism of public property and warned hoodlums not to allow anyone use them to derail the focus of the agitation.
The PFN South South leader expressed hope that a new Nigeria will soon be born.
