Youths from Kolokolo quarters in Enerhen Community in the early hours of Monday morning carried placards with different inscriptions and march round the various streets in the quarter and eventually ended their protest at the Enerhen Police Station.
Speaking on behalf of the protesting youths, Mr Gabriel Oforkpimi said that information came to Kolokolo quarters that one Chief Isaac Otima Ajala and some persons were secretly plotting to overthrown an already existing leadership in the area.
Mr Oforkpimi who is a onetime Vice Chairman of Community Development Committee, Enerhen added that in Enerhen Community they are procedures to follow in installing leadership of any of the Enerhen Community quarters.
He condemned the alleged plot and added that occupying leadership position in Enerhen Community is done by the community elders and concerned stakeholders and not by any traditional institution.

Others who spoke including Mr Sunny Onruvwie, Mr Francis Niemi and Chief Prince Governor all stressed that history had it that Enerhen Community in 1939 was mapped under Udu Clan.
They further emphasized that although Enerhen Community is presently in Uvwie local Government Area, traditionally Enerhen Community is part of the Udu clan and not Uvwie Kingdom.

The Divisional Police Officer of Enerhen Police Station, Mr Bello Muktari refused to attend to the Kolokolo protesting youths and asked them to channel their demands to the right authorities.
The Ovie of Uvwie Kingdom, Abe the first was yet to react to the protest as the time of this report.
