GUATEMALA ENDS RESCUE OPERATION AT DEADLY LANDSLIDE SITE
Guatemala has ended rescue operations at the site of a huge landslide in Queja Village after a tropical storm.
Dozens of people are believed to have been killed in the landslide.
The storm topple d trees, engorged swift moving rivers and ripped down parts of a mountain side above the Queja Village in the Central Guatemalan region of Alta Verapaz.
President Alejandro Giamattei said up to 150 people could have been buried in the Queja landslide.
The devastation caused by the storm was one of the worst to hit Central America in years, spreading destruction from Panama to Costa Riza, Nicaragua, Honduras and Mexico.
