As controversy continue to trail the alleged hoarding of palliatives meant for poor people in Nigerian, a Pastor in Kogi State has been arrested for looting medical equipment.
Kogi State Police Command announced the arrest of the Pastor whose name was identified as Sunday Edino along with other suspects.
The looted equipment is worth one point three billion naira.
The suspected pastor was arrested following a manhunt led by the Kogi State Police Commissioner, Ayuba Ede.
It was gathered that suspected hoodlums vandalized a warehouse and looted medical equipment with the pastor’s car before he was apprehended by the Nigeria police in Kogi State.
On interrogation, the suspect could not account for the medical equipment found in his car.
