According to Mr Aniagwu, also approved, is tarring of Larboard Road Sapele which will cost 394 million naira and completion of the DLA road Asaba, as well as tarring of some adjoining streets in the area at the cost of 448.5 million naira.
Other roads that received attention is the Warri/Sapele road to Effurun Roundabout which is to be expanded to accommodate more vehicles.
Mr Aniagwu disclosed that the construction of a faculty building to accommodate the department of Agriculture at the Anwai Campus of the Delta State University DELSU, Abraka, was approved at the meeting.
He added that the management and development of the Lander Brothers Anchorage, a tourist site in Asaba was leased to Abuja Boat Club to manage for 13 years adding that the transformation of the historic site to international standards will cost 524 million naira.
Mr Aniagwu also disclosed that approval was given for the establishment of Odoku Secondary School at Oboghore Community in Warri North Local Government area.
