As the furore over the killing of demonstrators at the peaceful protests against the activities of ENDSARS gradually settles down, the United Kingdom has insisted on probing the shooting at the Lekki toll gate in Lagos.
The United Kingdom High commission in Nigeria said it was working with stakeholders to ensure justice is served.
The UK stated that it remained committed to the rights of peaceful protests and deplored acts of looting and violence urging security agencies to restrain themselves from killing of innocent people.
Meanwhile, Nigerians abroad have frowned at the killing of peaceful protesters in Lagos and other parts of the country.
The Nigerians in diaspora who are mostly resident in Britain wore black calling for full investigation into the killing of protesters at the Lekki toll gate in Lagos.
President Muhammadu Buhari has assured that all these involved in the killing of the peaceful protesters will not go unpunished.
