This is the busy Eku-Abraka Road already taken over by protesting Youths from Eku and neighbouring villages.
Some of the protesters who spoke on DRTV News including Chief Omoware and Chief Odemero Alex said the peaceful protest was to identity with other Nigerian Youths protesting across the country.
Chief Omoware and Chief Odemero said the protest is not only against police brutality, but also against poverty, unemployment, underdevelopment, corruption in high places and bad leadership.
They noted that the protest will continue until their demands are met.
Some motorists and commuters, who were stranded as a result of the protest, pledged their support for the protesters and urged the Federal Government to hearken to their demands.
The Federal Government in an effort to calm down the Youths recently disbanded the Special Anti-Robbery Squad, SARS and also announced the setting up of a new security outfit known as Special Weapons and Tactics Team, SWAT.
The protesters have however disagreed with the new security outfit.
