Argentina Football Legend and 1986 World Cup Winner, Diego Maradona, has undergone a successful clot surgery.
Diego Maradona, 60 was admitted after suffering from anaemia and dehydration on Monday in the Ipensa Clinic in Buenos Aires.
His Personal Physician and Neurosurgeon, Dr Leopoldo Luque said Maradona was transferred to the Olivos Clinic in La Plata where he was operated on and the procedure took about 80 minutes.
Dr Leopoldo Luque said the Football Legend had coped well with the surgery and that everything was under control.
Diego Maradona presently coaches Gymnasia Esgrima in Argentina’s top flight.
