Delta State Civil Service Commission Regulations (2019)

Today, the Delta State Civil Service Commission Regulations (2019) at the Government House in Asaba, reached another pivotal milestone in the march towards a stronger Delta.

“To put this in perspective, the transformation of our civil service has been a key component of my administration’s agenda. This is why, we embarked on a comprehensive review of the Civil Service Regulations that have been in place since 1978 — a period of nearly four decades”.

“These new Civil Service Regulations will allow our state’s civil service to operate an effective, efficient, highly-skilled, merit-driven, and integrity-based public service — in-line with global standards”.

“As we move forward, I thank the review committee, the Chairman of the Civil Service Commission, the members of the commission and all other past and present civil servants that contributed to this exercise that will make our civil service more productive and responsive”. His Excellency, Governor Ifaenyi Okowa said on his official Twitter handle.
