As part of measures to ease restrictions imposed on Deltans in the wake of the COVID-19, the Delta State Government has adjusted the curfew in the State from the earlier period of 7pm to 6am to a new period of 10pm to 5:30am.
This is contained in a statement by the Secretary to the State Government, SSG, Mr Chiedu Ebie on Wednesday.
According to the statement, government has also approved resumption of normal trading activities in all markets in the 25 Local Government Areas except cinemas, bars in Hotels, Beer Parlours that are to remain closed.
The statement added that restaurants and eateries are to continue to serve their customers on take-away basis noting that government would not hesitate to clamp down on defaulters.
The SSG therefore urged Deltans and residents to adhere strictly to all COVID-19 protocols to stamp out the contagion from the State.
