All the public and private schools shut in Delta State during the nationwide peaceful protests tagged ENDSARS will resume on Monday November 2, 2020.
Governor Ifeanyi Okowa ordered the closure of the schools in order not to endanger the lives of the children as well as their parents.
The Governor also imposed a forty eight hour curfew which has already been reviewed.
Principals, Headteachers as well as students and pupils of all public and private schools are expected to resume Monday next week.
On resumption, the schools would strive to ensure that they complete the scheme of work for the first term of the 2020/2021 academic session.
The first term of this new academic session ends on the 18th of December this year while the second term starts January 4, 2021 during which Pre KG, Nursery and Kindergarten are expected to reopen.
The State Commissioner for Basic and Secondary Education recently warned private school proprietors not to reopen the school for the Pre-Nursery until January next year.
