The state Director General of security Mr David Tonwe says the curfew imposed by the government is still in force and advised to comply with the directive,
Speaking today in Warri, Mr Tonwe said the review of the curfew by the state Governor Dr Ifeanyi Okowa was to change the restriction period from twenty four hours and not a removal of the curfew.
He explained that the curfew starts at 6: pm daily to the next day and advised the people of the state to comply as security men have been given instructions to enforce the curfew.
The director General security said the curfew was imposed to check criminality and appealed to Deltans to co-operate and show understanding as government was desirous of protecting their lives and properties.
