PSG came from a goal deficit to defeat Atalanta Football Club of Italy, two goals to one.
Atalanta took the lead in the 26 minutes of the game, when Mario Pasalic put his team ahead.
Toward the end of the match, French forward Kylian Mbappe pulled a brilliant performance to assist both goals from Brazilian, Monquinhos and Cameroonian Eric Ochup-Moting.
This was PSG first semi-final qualification after previous coaches Laurent Blanc and Unai Emery failed to progress beyond the quarter final stages.
Red Bull Leipzig Football Club of Germany will take on Athletico Madrid in the second quarter final match tonight.
This is the first time RB Leipzig will play in this stage of the competition.
Leipzig will be without hitman striker Timo Werner after her joined Chelsea’s Football Club, while Athletico Madrid is looking to progress beyond the quarter finals after defeating defending Champion Liverpool in the Round of 16.
Athletic Madrid is hoping to play in this year’s finals, after losing to City rivals Real Madrid in 2014 and 2016 Champions League finals.
