The deadly Coronavirus has adversely affected the economy of the world, closing down many businesses and sending many into the labour market.
In Nigeria, the pandemic dealt a deadly blow on the country’s economy and is citizens.
Inspite of several efforts by the States and Federal Governments, the virus has continued to have adverse effects on the resident’s especially rural dwellers, prompting the government to call on private individuals to assist.
In response to this appeal, as Deltan, Mr Godwin Ebosa decided to train 500 youths in poultry, snail and fish farming and link the participants to access Federal Government loans.
Mr Ebosa represented by Mr Tsewo Edema said the gesture was part of his COVID-19 palliatives to empower Youths in the State.
He noted that the gesture will make the participants self-reliant and ensure food sufficiency in the State.
Some participants who spoke thanked the sponsor for the training and promised to make effective use of the knowledge acquired.
Renowned Agriculturists were on ground to train the participants in the various fields.
